Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alcabideche's Paulo Santarém started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alcabideche's Paulo Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Joaquim Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcabideche's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Alcabideche's Joaquim Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pinheiro's zone, Joaquim Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Carvalho came out of the goal and Joaquim Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. João Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Lisboa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Alcabideche's zone, Vítor Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Silva came out of the goal and Vítor Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pinheiro's Vítor Sousa got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes, Paulo Santarém mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcabideche and the Pinheiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Alcabideche got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Santarém. 58 minutes into the match, Alberto Lisboa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Silva, 4-1. Adelino Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Santarém in the 64th minute of the match. Alcabideche's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
