Fernando Amaral didn't quite understand what happened when in the 36 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Daniel Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Moreira in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Viegas saved Meda from getting behind. Bento Ramos's late challenge caught a Brito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
