Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Molaredo's Adolfo Ramos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Adolfo Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molaredo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Molaredo's Augusto Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Molaredo's Nuno Esteves got a free kick in the 12th minute. Paulo Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Catarino Setúbal's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Gondemaria's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Borges came free, but Diogo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Molaredo booed when Gondemaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adolfo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Molaredo's Adolfo Ramos in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gondemaria's goalie prevented a goal. Catarino Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Paulo Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Ramos in the 40th minute of play forced Gondemaria's goalkeeper Diogo Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Ramos in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo Antunes saved Gondemaria from getting behind. Adolfo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Diogo Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Domingos Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gondemaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Catarino Setúbal was the one to do the kick off. Sandro Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Pedro Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match João Moura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Baptista skillfully saved the ball. If Sandro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes, Lúcio Matias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gondemaria and the Molaredo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lúcio Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Gondemaria's goalkeeper Diogo Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Borges. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Borges in the 61st minute of play forced Molaredo's goalkeeper Paulo Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Paulo Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Catarino Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Borges in the 71st minute of play. Sandro Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Paulo Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Augusto Borges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diogo Antunes. Gondemaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Diogo Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Ramos in the 91st minute of the match. 0-2 became the score in the 99th minute when Adolfo Ramos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
