In the 4th match minute, SC Gondiais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Tavares to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Pires couldn't finish the play. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Brito was the one to do the kick off. Heitor Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Brito in the 93rd minute of the match. The SC Gondiais players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
