Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Lima started the match with the kick off. Manuel Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Manuel Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristelo's Bernardo Leão in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Suzao's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Manuel Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Suzao's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viriato Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Manuel Santarém made a huge save. If Manuel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Manuel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Viriato Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Bernardo Leão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Manuel Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Maia in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, SC Suzao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Guarda to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th match minute, SC Suzao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Maia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cristelo's zone, Manuel Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Santarém came out of the goal and Manuel Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Santarém. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. Viriato Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Cristelo's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Anjos came free, but Manuel Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If João Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viriato Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Manuel Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute Viriato Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Manuel Maia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cristelo's Manuel Santarém. Manuel Santarém was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Anjos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Santarém saved Cristelo from getting behind. Manuel Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Manuel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Suzao were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cristelo to leave the ground with a draw.
