Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vicente Simões started the match with the kick off. If Pedro Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 minutes, Artur Setúbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Tuizelo and the Sabugal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artur Setúbal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Sabugal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Inácio Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adolfo Nunes, 1-0. Artur Setúbal was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Artur Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Pedro Trindade might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Brás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Trindade ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Simões struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Adolfo Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tuizelo. Viriato Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, SC Tuizelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Simões to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Tuizelo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Júlio Queirós hit a great ball. Filipe Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Vicente Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filipe Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Pedro Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Brás having to interfere. Sabugal FC's Pedro Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Trindade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Filipe Brás made a huge save. In the 58th minute, SC Tuizelo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Trindade fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Pedro Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Sabugal FC booed when SC Tuizelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Inácio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tuizelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Brás didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. SC Tuizelo's Filipe Brás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SC Tuizelo from getting a goal against them. Viriato Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Inácio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tuizelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moutinho in the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, SC Tuizelo's Filipe Brás got control of the ball when Pedro Trindade tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Neves in the 87th minute of play forced Sabugal FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Viriato Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sabugal FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
