Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amadeu Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Delgado in the 4th minute of the match. Rafael Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute Mariano Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Assunção got free with Amadeu Coelho in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 played minutes SC Palaios got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Lima. In the 23rd minute, Lucas Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rui Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SC Moliana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Trindade couldn't finish the play. Mariano Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rafael Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Coelho was a little too slow when Rodrigo Delgado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rui Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Trindade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, SC Moliana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Vaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Amadeu Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the SC Palaios defense, Hélder Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Azevedo. The SC Palaios fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Mariano Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Azevedo having to interfere. SC Palaios's Carlos Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
