Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Sá got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Pedro Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandre Ribeiro was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Alexandre Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Sá's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After having played for 8 minutes, Pedro Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sérgio Vaz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Cavalinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sérgio Vaz couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Dantas during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Cavalinhos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexandre Moniz was slow to take the kick. During this time Ovar's players had a chance to rest. Delfim Barros thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Alexandre Ribeiro, a very annoying self made goal in the 24th minute which led to 0-1. Bernardo Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. José Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bernardo Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Vaz in the 31st minute of play forced Ovar's goalkeeper Bernardo Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Manuel Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Matos in the 36th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that António Moura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardo Veiga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Ribeiro having to interfere. In the 45th minute Pedro Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Cavalinhos's Alexandre Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Luz in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Matos made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, António Viegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ovar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cavalinhos the free kick. In the 57th minute, António Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Vaz in the 58th minute of the match. Sérgio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Veiga having to interfere. Alexandre Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim Luz in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Pedro Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Delfim Luz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ovar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Alexandre Ribeiro had great luck who in the 85thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pedro Sá from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Pedro Sá came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ovar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Sá couldn't finish the play. If Pedro Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Cavalinhos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ovar's performance. The match ended with a win for Ovar.
