The referee ignored Vimioso's protests and gave Pedro Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vimioso's Pedro Barbosa got a free kick in the 5th minute. Manuel Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Trapa! Miguel Araújo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 17th minute David Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Costa in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Brás saved SC Trapa from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Gabriel Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marco Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Costa struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Marco Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vimioso. David Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vimioso's Fernando Cardoso got a free kick in the 35th minute. Manuel Martins's late challenge caught a Vimioso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Martins helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes SC Trapa got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Martins. A collision led to Vimioso getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. André Sá hit a great ball. Jorge Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Vimioso's zone, Gabriel Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Maia came out of the goal and Gabriel Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute David Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Martins got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 60th match minute, SC Trapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Martins to maneuver through the defense. Vimioso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Xavier Aleixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vimioso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Trapa the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Vimioso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Mendes in the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Daniel Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vimioso's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeu Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Trapa getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Amadeu Soares hit a great ball. If Manuel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vimioso's Jorge Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Vimioso from getting a goal against them. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
