Henrique Lima was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Neves in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Rodrigues saved Massarelos from getting behind. After 9 played minutes Chamoim FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Leal. Bruno Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armindo Pacheco in the 13th minute. Armindo Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bruno Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Massarelos. In the 17th minute Armando Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Mota came out and tried to block the shot, but Vítor Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. If Armando Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Pinho in the 34th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Pinho made a kick off. Bruno Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Vítor Lima scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Mota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 66 played minutes Chamoim FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Neves. 73 minutes into the match, Chamoim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Pacheco came free, but Bruno Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Mendes's late challenge caught a Massarelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Chamoim FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Mendes. Thanks to some nice moves Fábio Neves could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Manuel Rodrigues however easily saved by the left post. 87 minutes into the game, Chamoim FC's Artur Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Rodrigues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 96thth minute of the game Armindo Pacheco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamoim FC's Bruno Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Massarelos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chamoim FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
