Fojos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Joaquim Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cristiano Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreirinhas FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Baptista during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gil Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, one of Barreirinhas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barreirinhas FC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
After 54 played minutes Barreirinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Jesus. Bernardo Valente came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Fojos's Cláudio Miranda. But to his dismay, Cláudio Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 59th minute, Cláudio Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Valente. Barreirinhas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Anjos in the 63rd minute of play forced Fojos's goalkeeper Cristiano Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Oliveira in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barreirinhas FC's zone, Cláudio Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Valente came out of the goal and Cláudio Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Barreirinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Faro. Manuel Miranda struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Bernardo Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fojos. 75 minutes into the match, Cláudio Miranda notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Barreirinhas FC's Bernardo Valente. Bernardo Valente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Barreirinhas FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Barreirinhas FC's Sérgio Anjos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manuel Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Fojos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
