A collision led to SC Lamarosa getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nuno Miranda hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Matos during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. André Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eusébio Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Assunção in the 18th minute of the match. Nuno Miranda hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Tomás Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sandro Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Jacinto Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lamarosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, one of Alcorvel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcorvel. With a little luck, Alcorvel's Sandro Santarém got control of the ball when Luís Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Santarém having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alcorvel's Nuno Fonseca got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Assunção to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcorvel's goalkeeper Sandro Santarém, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Alcorvel getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tiago Nascimento hit a great ball. Gaspar Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sandro Santarém. Alcorvel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Alcorvel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Tomás Assunção made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Neves. SC Lamarosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eusébio Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes, Luís Nogueira made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alcorvel's Sandro Santarém tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, SC Lamarosa's Jorge Magalhães got a free kick in the 89th minute.
