Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Afonso Gonçalves made the kick off which started today's match. When Cheires FC's Albertino Barros in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brandariz FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 minutes, Albertino Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandariz FC and the Cheires FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albertino Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play Brandariz FC's Albertino Reis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Albertino Reis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Domingos Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingos Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pinto having to interfere. António Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Miguel Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Brandariz FC's goalkeeper António Pinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingos Cruz. After 25 minutes, Afonso Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheires FC and the Brandariz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Afonso Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cheires FC's Domingos Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brandariz FC's Eusébio Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Gonçalves in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Dias saved Cheires FC from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertino Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Gonçalves in the 51st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cheires FC's zone, Afonso Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Dias came out of the goal and Afonso Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. António Pinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertino Barros's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Albertino Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cheires FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 minutes, Albertino Barros made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brandariz FC's António Pinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Domingos Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Domingos Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Borges hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Cheires FC's Domingos Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute Albertino Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Pinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cheires FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brandariz FC for a fine match.
