Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Oliveira Carneiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fernando Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Henriques in the 4th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Oliveira Carneiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiago Leão. The goal made the score 1-0. Augusto Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Areao were awarded a corner. António Amorim went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in António Amorim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Penude's Fernando Baptista did a great save. Tiago Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Carneiro in the 20th minute of play. Vítor Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Miguel Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Augusto Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Penude's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fábio Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Baptista was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Areao's Jaime Maia got a free kick in the 57th minute. Tiago Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Moreiras short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Fernando Baptista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oliveira Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Leão having to interfere. Fábio Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fernando Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Baptista having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Penude's Fernando Baptista got control of the ball when Fábio Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Fábio Moreira made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Baptista. SC Penude's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Areao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
