Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Vale in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrique Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Armando Campos managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when SC Penude's Joaquim Nascimento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 12 minutes, Miguel Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Penude and the Sentinela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Miguel Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliveira Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliveira Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Campos having to interfere. Fernando Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Alves in the 26th minute of the match. If Inácio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Penude's Fernando Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Alves in the 40th minute of play. If Oliveira Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of SC Penude booed when Sentinela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Aleixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliveira Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. Gil Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Joaquim Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SC Penude fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Nascimento couldn't finish the play. António Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Inácio Vale notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Penude's Fernando Baptista. Fernando Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inácio Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Baptista having to interfere. Fernando Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 81st minute Joaquim Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joaquim Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Armando Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Alves in the 96th minute of play forced SC Penude's goalkeeper Fernando Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Penude fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sentinela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
