Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When António Correia came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SC Constancia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Correia couldn't finish the play. Fernando Viana hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Foiao FC's Vítor Amaro got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Guarda in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Amaral saved Foiao FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Nunes in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Maia saved SC Constancia from getting behind. Armando Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mariano Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Guarda in the 23rd minute of play forced Foiao FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foiao FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after SC Constancia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexandre Bessa took the corner. After taking down the ball on Foiao FC's corner Alexandre Bessa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mariano Maia quite easily take care of the ball. Gil Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as António Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Amaral. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. SC Constancia's Mariano Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Nunes in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Borges during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Foiao FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Borges. After recieving a nice pass, SC Constancia's Afonso Branco tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Guarda to make the kick off. Ricardo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Guarda in the 52nd minute of the match. Gil Guarda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Foiao FC's Armando Nunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mariano Maia. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. When António Correia came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the SC Constancia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Correia couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Gil Guarda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Constancia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After having played for 73 minutes, Armando Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foiao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Foiao FC's Luís Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Gil Guarda came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the SC Constancia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Guarda couldn't finish the play. Gil Guarda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Amaral having to make a save. Gil Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Constancia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
