Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Costa started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mourelo FC's Jacinto Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jacinto Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Oliveira Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mourelo FC's Pedro Mendes got control of the ball when Bruno Anjos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luís Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Janarde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Manuel Teixeira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute, Bruno Anjos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Rui Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fonseca having to make a save. If Alexandre Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Sá was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Mendes having to interfere. In the 58th minute Alexandre Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Costa's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Rui Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Luís Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janarde FC's Luís Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Sá in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Fonseca was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Luís Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jacinto Maia sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Veiga during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Janarde FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adolfo Veiga hit a great ball. If Bruno Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Anjos in the 93rd minute of the match. Rui Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Mendes having to interfere.
