Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Leiria started the match with the kick off. Ricardo Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. António Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Faro in the 10th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Afonso Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Leiria in the 19th minute of play forced Pegos's goalkeeper António Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Oliveira Aleixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Brás was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eusébio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. António Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Jorge Guarda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegos and the Tibaes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ricardo Faro sped through Tibaes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexandre Brás. Eusébio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. António Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Vicente Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pegos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pegos booed when Tibaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Bruno Moniz put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pegos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Tibaes. Joel Brás stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving António Pedroso. 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Brás having to interfere. Eusébio Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. António Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Vicente Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegos's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vicente Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibaes's Alexandre Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Guarda in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Tibaes's Afonso Leiria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After 90 played minutes Tibaes got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Assunção. Miguel Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Tibaes booed when Pegos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Rodrigues in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tibaes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
