When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Pegos's Oliveira Aleixo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. Valdujo's Amílcar Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Faro in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Magalhães in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Pedroso saved Pegos from getting behind. David Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Valdujo's Emanuel Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Pedroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdujo's Emanuel Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
