Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Vasco Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Avelal FC's Eduardo Gonçalves got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Delfim Moutinho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Avelal FC's Miguel Guarda didn't even have to move. Adolfo Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Alijo's Júlio Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Araújo in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, SC Alijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Óscar Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Avelal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Araújo couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes, Avelal FC's Vasco Leiria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Barros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Avelal FC reached it. In the 39th minute, Óscar Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Barros. SC Alijo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to SC Alijo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eusébio Torres hit a great ball. Miguel Guarda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Neto in the 45th minute. Francisco Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Avelal FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Torres in the 52nd minute of play forced Avelal FC's goalkeeper Miguel Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SC Alijo's Júlio Barros got control of the ball when Adolfo Lisboa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A well placed Óscar Araújo short distance shot in the 58th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. A collision led to Avelal FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eduardo Gonçalves hit a great ball. Miguel Guarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Neto in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Neto in the 69th minute of play forced Avelal FC's goalkeeper Miguel Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Torres scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Guarda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Torres in the 91st minute of play forced Avelal FC's goalkeeper Miguel Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 played minutes Avelal FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Nascimento. Avelal FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
