Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Moura made the kick off and thus started the match. Fábio Nogueira took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Barros. Júlio Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to SC Alijo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Américo Moutinho hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Alexandre Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Moura in the 15th minute of the match. Júlio Barros came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Esmojais FC's Alexandre Moura. But to his dismay, Alexandre Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Fábio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Filipe Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Júlio Barros was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Alexandre Moura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Moura really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Sebastião Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Neto in the 29th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Eusébio Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Eusébio Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eusébio Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Francisco Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Neto in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Valente saved Esmojais FC from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Torres made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Francisco Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Alijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Nogueira in the 54th minute of play forced SC Alijo's goalkeeper Júlio Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Alexandre Moura notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of SC Alijo's Júlio Barros. Júlio Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fábio Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Esmojais FC's Fábio Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Francisco Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Valente having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, SC Alijo's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Nogueira came free, but Júlio Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Torres in the 87th minute of play. Francisco Neto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Sebastião Valente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esmojais FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Alijo for a fine match.
