Bernardo Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Rodrigo Rodrigues hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Rodrigues got his second yellow card in the match during the 6th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 6th match minute, Fraguas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Macedo in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Fraguas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Rui Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Nogueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Sejaes's André Fontes got control of the ball when João Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Nogueira having to interfere. João Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 30 in the game by João Pacheco from a close distance when the talented André Fontes managed to make a qualified save. Sejaes's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, João Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sejaes's supporters rose to their feet, but João Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Macedo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Nogueira saved Fraguas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Oliveira in the 37th minute of play forced Fraguas's goalkeeper Bernardo Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 40 in the game by João Pacheco from a close distance when the talented André Fontes managed to make a qualified save. Sejaes's players were relieved. João Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bernardo Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Fraguas got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Faria. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pacheco to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Macedo in the 53rd minute of play forced Fraguas's goalkeeper Bernardo Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bernardo Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fraguas's zone, João Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Nogueira came out of the goal and João Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 minutes, João Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sejaes and the Fraguas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66thth minute of the game João Macedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fraguas's Bernardo Nogueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rui Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Bernardo Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sejaes. André Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Carneiro in the 73rd minute of play. When Lourenço Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Fraguas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lourenço Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Simão Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. André Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Rui Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. When Lourenço Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fraguas's protests and gave Lourenço Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. André Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
