Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nuno Matos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Duarte Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Ramos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bento Veiga in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lúcio Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to SC Assares getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. André Vieira hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Resouro's zone, Diogo Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Viana came out of the goal and Diogo Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Diogo Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Duarte Domingues notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Assares's Lúcio Ramos. Lúcio Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Diogo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Duarte Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Matos in the 53rd minute of the match. Lúcio Ramos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Bento Veiga sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SC Resouro getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nuno Matos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Nuno Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
