Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Marques got the match started through his kick off. Afonso Vale took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Aguiar. Sérgio Aguiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. SC Sapos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joel Marques 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Tomás Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomás Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Fonseca in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Sapos's Pedro Coelho got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Adelino Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th match minute, SC Freches was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Ribeiro's late challenge caught a SC Sapos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Freches getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alfredo Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match SC Sapos got a corner. SC Freches's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Coelho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Fernando Coelho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Freches's Sérgio Aguiar did a great save. If Afonso Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SC Freches players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Sapos were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Afonso Vale made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Coelho made a great header on SC Sapos's corner, it was just that SC Freches's Sérgio Aguiar managed to reach the ball for a save. SC Freches's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Afonso Vale scored to the left of an out of position Sérgio Aguiar, making the score, 1-3. Bruno Pereira came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Freches's Joel Marques. But to his dismay, Joel Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Amaral in the 81st minute of play forced SC Sapos's goalkeeper Bruno Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, SC Sapos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Vale to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Afonso Vale came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the SC Sapos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Vale couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sapos's zone, João Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Pereira came out of the goal and João Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Afonso Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sapos's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Sapos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
