Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Vale kicked off to start the match. A collision led to SC Sapos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Adelino Dias hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, SC Sapos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Almeida came free, but Bruno Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Vale in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Neto having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Daniel Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cristiano Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Vale in the 23rd minute of play. Cedovim's Cristiano Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Vale in the 25th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, José Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cedovim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sapos the free kick. After 32 played minutes Cedovim got a freekick which was hit by José Soares. SC Sapos's Bruno Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Almeida in the 35th minute of play. Daniel Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Sapos's Tomás Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Pereira was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half Cedovim were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Cedovim's Cristóvão Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Pereira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomás Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Neto having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Almeida got free with Bruno Pereira in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Daniel Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cedovim's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Fonseca in the 71st minute of the match. If Daniel Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Pereira having to interfere. SC Sapos's Tomás Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cedovim's goalkeeper Cristiano Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, one of SC Sapos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 87 played minutes SC Sapos got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Vale. Cristóvão Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bruno Pereira made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Simões in the 94th minute of play forced SC Sapos's goalkeeper Bruno Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedovim's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
