Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the match, Bicos FC's Sandro Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristóvão Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heitor Miranda hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Joaquim Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Areias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bicos FC the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Areias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Domingues to maneuver through the defense. David Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cristóvão Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Tomás Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Areias and the Bicos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, David Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Neto hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Américo Marques struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. André Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Areias. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Dias was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Américo Marques made a precise shot to the right of André Simões. Bicos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Areias's zone, David Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Magalhães came out of the goal and David Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cristóvão Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Aguiar in the 58th minute. Bicos FC's André Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Dias in the 61st minute of play. André Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bicos FC's Emanuel Neto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, David Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Areias getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Heitor Miranda hit a great ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Américo Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Dias struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. André Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Areias. In the 89th minute, Américo Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sandro Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Bicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Pedroso couldn't finish the play. David Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
