Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Queirós made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rodrigues in the 5th minute of play forced Arouca FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Hugo Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penilhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arouca FC the free kick. Hugo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Penilhos's goal looked a bit too open when José Moura came free, but Pedro Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Setúbal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. David Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th match minute, Arouca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Silva to maneuver through the defense. David Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Álvaro Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Costa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. José Moura struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Pedro Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arouca FC. Álvaro Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when David Costa sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Queirós in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Penilhos getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hugo Cunha hit a great ball. If José Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If David Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Costa scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Álvaro Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Penilhos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Queirós fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bento Barbosa's late challenge caught a Penilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bento Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. If David Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Queirós during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Penilhos's Pedro Veiga got control of the ball when José Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pedro Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Penilhos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo Queirós fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 80th minute David Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Penilhos's Pedro Veiga got control of the ball when José Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Álvaro Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, David Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Álvaro Setúbal. Arouca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Paulo Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Veiga having to interfere.
