Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Magalhães started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Manuel Brás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Freitas was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Paulo Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Magalhães in the 5th minute of play. After 7 played minutes José Machado could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. The supporters of Casario FC booed when SC Mesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paulo Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute José Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Machado struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. António Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casario FC. António Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Pedroso in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Paulo Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Mesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casario FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Mesa's Paulo Carvalho got a free kick in the 29th minute. Gonçalo Pedroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute José Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Casario FC's Bernardo Nunes got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Manuel Brás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Mesa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Manuel Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Paulo Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Machado was the one to do the kick off. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when José Machado got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 53 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, José Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Moura. SC Mesa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of SC Mesa booed when Casario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Gonçalo Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Pedroso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes SC Mesa got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Nunes. A collision led to SC Mesa getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Paulo Carvalho hit a great ball. Gonçalo Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Moura having to interfere. José Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonçalo Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. António Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casario FC. Nuno Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Manuel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Freitas having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Manuel Brás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Mesa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Casario FC.
