Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Henriques kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Afonso Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Américo Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Cabral in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Brito saved SC Nandufe from getting behind. Afonso Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Júlio Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Borges having to interfere. 16 minutes in the game, Afonso Cabral fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Júlio Borges having to interfere. Alexandre Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alexandre Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Zagalho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Cabral couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, SC Nandufe's Afonso Cabral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Borges. Júlio Borges yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Júlio Borges was a little too slow when Afonso Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Cabral was the one to do the kick off. When Zagalho FC's Afonso Henriques in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Nandufe's goalie prevented a goal. Júlio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Alexandre Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zagalho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Afonso Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SC Nandufe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Cabral couldn't finish the play. When Américo Abreu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. 69 minutes into the game, Eusébio Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zagalho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Nandufe the free kick. Eusébio Santos hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Jorge Brito came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the SC Nandufe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Brito couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Armindo Antunes in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Luís Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Nandufe's protests and gave Luís Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Armindo Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Armindo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Nandufe's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luís Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SC Nandufe players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
