Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lourenço Moura started the match with the kick off. Eusébio Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Setúbal having to interfere. Afonso Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Setúbal having to interfere. If Alexandre Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Setúbal came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Zagalho FC's Alexandre Cabral. But to his dismay, Alexandre Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 28 minutes of play, Zagalho FC's Afonso Henriques made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Setúbal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Borges made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Alberto Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th match minute, Zagalho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Silva to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso Henriques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lourenço Moura struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Júlio Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carotes FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Melo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Setúbal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carotes FC's Miguel Trindade got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carotes FC's zone, Afonso Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Setúbal came out of the goal and Afonso Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Borges having to interfere. Lourenço Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Alberto Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carotes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Carotes FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Pedro Vaz hit a great ball.
