Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eduardo Rodrigues took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Alvega's Nuno Coelho got control of the ball when Vítor Matias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vítor Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Coelho having to interfere. Mariano Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Alvega's Nuno Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Alvega from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Abela's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Rodrigues came free, but Mariano Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Alvega's Eduardo Rodrigues made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Anjos was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Carneiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Abela's goalkeeper Mariano Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eduardo Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abela's goalkeeper Mariano Anjos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduardo Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Rodrigo Paredes's late challenge caught a Alvega's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alvega booed when Abela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Álvaro Ferro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariano Anjos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Neto in the 62nd minute of play forced Abela's goalkeeper Mariano Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Matias charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Matias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Abela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Matias to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mariano Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Coelho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
