Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Baptista got the match started through his kick off. If Luís Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Joaquim Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Cardoso in the 29th minute of play. Armando Lisboa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Pedro Reis was a little too slow when André Pires got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-2. Armando Lisboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Pedro Reis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Sezures FC's zone, André Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Pedroso came out of the goal and André Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sezures FC's Joaquim Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carneiro in the 46th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Sezures FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Setúbal. After the first half Alfafar were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Pires was the one to do the kick off. Alfafar's Pedro Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Pires in the 54th minute of play. André Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pedro Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Pires's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Alfafar's Luís Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Baptista in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquim Pedroso saved Sezures FC from getting behind. Catarino Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Alfafar's Pedro Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Santos in the 73rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Cardoso got free with Joaquim Pedroso in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Catarino Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Sezures FC. Bruno Pinheiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Reis. 2-3. In the 84th minute, André Baptista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquim Pedroso. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 87th minute, Bernardo Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Setúbal during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alfafar booed when Sezures FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alfafar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
