Mário Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Pinto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Oliveira could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Humberto Costa however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Pedroso in the 9th minute of play forced Nostim FC's goalkeeper Humberto Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Mário Brás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baulhe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nostim FC the free kick. A collision led to Baulhe getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mário Brás hit a great ball. Joaquim Assis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Manuel Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Baulhe got a freekick which was hit by Mário Brás. A collision led to Nostim FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Humberto Abreu hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Humberto Abreu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Pinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mário Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Costa having to interfere. If Humberto Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nostim FC's Mário Borges in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baulhe's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute, Manuel Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Baulhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Araújo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Abreu in the 47th minute of play forced Baulhe's goalkeeper Filipe Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Baulhe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nostim FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mário Borges made a kick off. In the 54th minute Nostim FC were awarded a corner. Joaquim Assis went to the cornerflag to take it. Nostim FC's Pedro Amorim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filipe Pinto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Araújo's late challenge caught a Nostim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Baulhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Baulhe's Carlos Araújo got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Carlos Araújo off the ground. After a rather tough play, Baulhe's Carlos Araújo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Filipe Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Borges in the 61st minute of play. Humberto Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Filipe Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Borges in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Pinto saved Baulhe from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Basílio Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nostim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baulhe the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Nostim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Pinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Borges in the 89th minute of play. The Baulhe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nostim FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Nostim FC.
