Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cláudio Baptista kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Filipe Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Borba made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Inácio Antunes sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, SC Categal's Gil Borba got control of the ball when Inácio Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Meca FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Basílio Dantas hit a great ball. Inácio Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gil Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gil Borba made a huge save. Paulo Delgado charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Delgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Categal's Paulo Delgado got a free kick in the 26th minute. Inácio Antunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Gil Borba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gil Borba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Amorim in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Gil Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Gil Pereira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Meca FC's Marco Santos. Marco Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mário Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Pereira in the 45th minute of play forced Meca FC's goalkeeper Marco Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Mário Amorim made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Meca FC's Cristiano Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Borba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meca FC reached it. SC Categal's Filipe Barbosa suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 54 minutes, André Anjos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meca FC and the SC Categal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute of the match Ricardo Leão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Santos skillfully saved the ball. If Gil Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes SC Categal got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Jesus. After 61 played minutes, Meca FC's André Anjos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Borba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Meca FC reached it. 64 minutes into the match, Gil Pereira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Meca FC's Marco Santos. Marco Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th play minute Gil Pereira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marco Santos. 0-3. If Paulo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Henrique Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meca FC's protests and gave Henrique Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, SC Categal's Marco Santos threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulo Delgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Baptista during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Cláudio Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Categal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
