Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cláudio Baptista started the match with the kick off. If Gil Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Categal booed when Badalinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Amílcar Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Borba having to interfere. Rogério Miranda took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Borba. Gil Borba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rogério Miranda hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Gil Pereira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, João Pacheco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Filipe Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Badalinho's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Baptista came free, but João Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 38 in the game by Gil Pereira from a close distance when the talented João Pacheco managed to make a qualified save. Badalinho's players were relieved. Gil Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Martins in the 40th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Filipe Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gil Borba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gil Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. João Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Badalinho were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. Amílcar Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gil Borba made a huge save. With a little luck, SC Categal's Gil Borba got control of the ball when Amílcar Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Pereira in the 63rd minute of play forced Badalinho's goalkeeper João Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pacheco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Baptista's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. If Gil Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Barbosa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Badalinho's Jorge Correia tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. João Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of SC Categal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Badalinho:s goal. If Filipe Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. João Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Categal's Gil Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Badalinho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
