Fábio Leal succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Taveiros FC's Mariano Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Almeida in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taveiros FC's goalkeeper Mariano Brás, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Chanceleiros's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Mota came free, but Bernardo Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fábio Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mariano Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Leal got free with Bernardo Mota in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augusto Sousa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Heitor Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mariano Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Brás showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Almeida in the 28th minute of the match. Heitor Fontes struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mariano Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chanceleiros. Taveiros FC's Mariano Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Almeida in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Heitor Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chanceleiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Brás was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Mota made a kick off. Heitor Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mariano Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Taveiros FC booed when Chanceleiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Mota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Mota. Chanceleiros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute Cristiano Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Taveiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Figueiredo. 70 minutes into the match, Chanceleiros's Miguel Viegas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 75th minute, Cristiano Almeida fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Heitor Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Brás having to interfere. If Fábio Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Taveiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Sousa. Cristiano Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eusébio Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Rodrigo Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taveiros FC's Mariano Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Almeida in the 94th minute of play. Chanceleiros's Cristiano Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
