Xavier Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Eduardo Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Sitema's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Leite came free, but Jorge Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristóvão Cabral was the one to do the kick off. Xavier Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Morais in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Américo Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sitema's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rdth minute of the game Eduardo Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sitema's Jorge Coelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Silvas FC's Eduardo Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inácio Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Sitema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Resende to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Silvas FC's Álvaro Paiva tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Xavier Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Resende in the 77th minute of play. When Américo Morais, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Xavier Araújo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sitema's Américo Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Silvas FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Carlos Leite hit a great ball. Américo Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavier Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Américo Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Silvas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
