In the 6th minute, André Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes SC Mosteiros got a freekick which was hit by André Tavares. If Carlos Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barcelinhos FC's Ricardo Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Nascimento in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Fernando Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Guerreiro. Barcelinhos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ricardo Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Guerreiro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Mosteiros's Carlos Nascimento shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The Barcelinhos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Mosteiros were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Vale was the one to do the kick off. Alexandre Aleixo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Azevedo having to make a save. After 63 minutes, André Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelinhos FC and the SC Mosteiros players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Fernando Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Nascimento was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. SC Mosteiros's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Barcelinhos FC's Ricardo Guerreiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelinhos FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Azevedo having to interfere. Alexandre Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Mosteiros's Carlos Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Guerreiro. That made the score 0-4 after 81 minutes of play. If Fernando Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Vale in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Aleixo in the 94th minute of play forced SC Mosteiros's goalkeeper Pedro Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Vale struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Pedro Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelinhos FC. SC Mosteiros played a much better game than Barcelinhos FC and deserved their victory. The Barcelinhos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
