José Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, SC Mosteiros's Marco Nogueira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Carlos Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Tomás Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pedro Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ponteira FC booed when SC Mosteiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Mosteiros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ponteira FC were winning 1-2.

Pedro Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Coelho in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Nascimento in the 93rd minute of play forced Ponteira FC's goalkeeper Marco Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
