João Faro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viriato Ramos. Teixo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. André Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The referee ignored SC Valdoia's protests and gave Amílcar Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Valdoia's Amílcar Amaro got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Emílio Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Matias in the 83rd minute of play. Augusto Correia didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 90th minute. SC Valdoia's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
