Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Araújo made the kick off and thus started the match. Pedro Matias hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Joaquim Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Safara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Manuel Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Santos in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Manuel Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Manuel Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Safara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Amadeu Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Safara FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Safara FC's Manuel Araújo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tomás Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luso's Artur Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Araújo in the 28th minute of play. Manuel Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Artur Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Manuel Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Amadeu Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Artur Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Manuel Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Amadeu Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The crowd rose to their feet as Manuel Araújo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Freitas. That made the score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. Manuel Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sérgio Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Vaz having to interfere. Amadeu Nogueira scored 0-5 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Freitas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Tomás Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Safara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. Abel Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ricardo Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tomás Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Vaz having to interfere. When Luso's Ricardo Santos in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Safara FC's goalie prevented a goal. Safara FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
