Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. António Dias started the match with the kick off. Xavier Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Castro in the 7th minute of play. Alberto Castro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Xavier Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bairro. António Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Paulo Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Lobeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Torres to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Jorge Torres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobeira FC and the Bairro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute of the match Bairro got a corner. Lobeira FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gil Azevedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Cândido Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bairro's protests and gave Cândido Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bairro getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cândido Rocha hit a great ball. When Cândido Rocha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. After 39 played minutes Bairro got a freekick which was hit by Cândido Rocha. 43 minutes into the match, Lobeira FC's António Dias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Bessa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vítor Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Monteiro having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Delgado made a kick off. Bairro's Raul Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Bessa having to make a save. Xavier Santarém charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Santarém the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xavier Santarém hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes in the game Lúcio Magalhães got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Raul Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes Bairro got a freekick which was hit by Raul Melo. António Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, António Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Bessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Diogo Gaspar took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Bessa. Paulo Bessa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 90 minutes into the match, Bairro's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Torres came free, but Paulo Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vítor Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobeira FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bairro for a fine match.
