Gustavo Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Abobeleira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Henriques came free, but Emanuel Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Macedo having to interfere. In the 13th minute Luís Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abobeleira FC's Emanuel Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Henriques in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Jorge Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Abobeleira FC's zone, Mariano Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Macedo came out of the goal and Mariano Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rogério Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Abobeleira FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Leite. Mariano Henriques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Abobeleira FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Cardoso. Rogério Soares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rogério Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Emanuel Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Abobeleira FC's Heitor Jesus got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 48th minute Xavier Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Luís Porto made the kick off in the second half. Xavier Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gustavo Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Xavier Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Xavier Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rui Assis fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Gramas's protests and gave Rui Assis a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of SC Gramas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abobeleira FC:s goal. Mariano Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emanuel Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rogério Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gramas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rogério Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Cristóvão Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Gil Abreu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Macedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Cardoso hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Mariano Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
