Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Branco made the kick off and thus started the match. Manuel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Mendes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Bananeiras's Luís Fonseca got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 18 played minutes SC Bananeiras got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fonseca. After 22 played minutes Sirvozelo got a freekick which was hit by Armando Macedo. With a little luck, Sirvozelo's Fernando Campos got control of the ball when Raul Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jorge Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Heitor Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorge Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Branco in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heitor Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Jorge Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Brás did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Jorge Mendes 62 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sirvozelo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Afonso Oliveira hit a great ball. João Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fernando Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Jaime Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Sirvozelo's Jaime Branco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Mendes. Jorge Mendes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Branco in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Mendes saved SC Bananeiras from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Afonso Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that João Dias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Campos was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Sirvozelo's goal looked a bit too open when João Dias came free, but Fernando Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Mendes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 98th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernando Borges. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sirvozelo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
