Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Anjos made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Heitor Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrega's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes SC Ervededo got a freekick which was hit by Joel Anjos. José Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Heitor Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Barros. SC Ervededo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heitor Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 20 minutes, Heitor Trindade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrega and the SC Ervededo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Heitor Trindade hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carlos Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gaspar Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Anjos in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Arrega getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Xavier Faria hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, SC Ervededo's Vasco Santos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 41st minute, Tomás Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Garcia was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Joel Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Carlos Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Arrega's Heitor Trindade got a free kick in the 56th minute. Joel Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Simões in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaspar Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Emílio Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Borges was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Carlos Anjos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Anjos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Carlos Anjos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Borges having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Anjos in the 79th minute of play forced Arrega's goalkeeper Emílio Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, Arrega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Faria to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes Arrega's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vasco Santos who took care of the corner kick. Vasco Santos made a great header on SC Ervededo's corner, it was just that Arrega's Emílio Borges managed to reach the ball for a save. If Carlos Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Emílio Borges made a huge save. Carlos Nunes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Pedro Garcia took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Barros. José Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Many of SC Ervededo's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SC Ervededo may have spent more time on the ball, but Arrega were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
