The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gil Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Moura. Pesinho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paulo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rui Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Freitas in the 9th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pesinho FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Pesinho FC booed when Cisao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Freitas went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Cisao's zone, Diogo Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Vale came out of the goal and Diogo Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Borba made a kick off. Gabriel Assis in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Moura, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 60 played minutes Pesinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Andrade. After 61 played minutes, Cisao's Gil Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cisao reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Pesinho FC's zone, Gabriel Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Moura came out of the goal and Gabriel Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute Pedro Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Assiss short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Pedro Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Pedro Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pesinho FC's Gaspar Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
