Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Domingues kicked off to start the match. Filipe Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, SC Fragoso's goalkeeper Filipe Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Neto. Miguel Carvalho came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Fragoso's Ricardo Domingues. But to his dismay, Ricardo Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A hard shot 21 in the game by Vítor Neto from a close distance when the talented Filipe Branco managed to make a qualified save. SC Fragoso's players were relieved. When Ricardo Mota fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penso's protests and gave Ricardo Mota a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Penso's Ricardo Mota got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Domingues in the 29th minute of play forced Penso's goalkeeper Miguel Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Mota hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Vítor Ferro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, SC Fragoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Leite to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Penso's zone, Ricardo Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Carvalho came out of the goal and Ricardo Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SC Fragoso's Filipe Branco got control of the ball when Vítor Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Penso booed when SC Fragoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Fragoso's zone, Vítor Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Branco came out of the goal and Vítor Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Miguel Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Domingues in the 52nd minute of play. Penso's Miguel Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Domingues in the 53rd minute of play. Ricardo Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vítor Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Branco having to interfere. Alexandre Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Filipe Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vítor Neto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Filipe Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Neto in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, SC Fragoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Leite to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Neto in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Óscar Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Fragoso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penso the free kick. Óscar Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Alexandre Maia struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Miguel Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Fragoso. 92 minutes into the match, Penso's goalkeeper Miguel Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Maia. During the 94th minute of the match Ricardo Mota completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ricardo Mota a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Fragoso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
