Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pagade's Óscar Leão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Lima during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Álvaro Soares came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pagade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Soares couldn't finish the play. Bruno Valente charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Valente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Pagade got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Valente. 12 minutes into the game, Afonso Gueifão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pagade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Barata the free kick. Afonso Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Carlos Macedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Barata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 21 played minutes SC Barata got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Bessa. Cristiano Jesus acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paulo Coimbra. SC Barata's Cristiano Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Leão in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Pagade getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fernando Fonseca hit a great ball. If Óscar Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SC Barata's Cristiano Jesus got control of the ball when Álvaro Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Macedo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Pinto saved Pagade from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Leão in the 45th minute of play forced SC Barata's goalkeeper Cristiano Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half SC Barata were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Macedo was the one to do the kick off. Álvaro Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Pagade's Óscar Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Jesus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Pinto having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Carlos Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Barata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pagade's Afonso Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Macedo in the 73rd minute of play. After 73 minutes of play Pagade's Bruno Valente was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of SC Barata booed when Pagade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Branco got free with Afonso Pinto in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Afonso Pinto made a huge save. Pagade's Afonso Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Macedo in the 84th minute of play. After taking down the ball on SC Barata's corner Heitor Assis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Afonso Pinto quite easily take care of the ball. Cristiano Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Pagade's Afonso Pinto got control of the ball when Fernando Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Álvaro Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
