Gabriel Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Simões having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Carvalho to make the kick off. If Carlos Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Bizorreiro booed when Sistelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Moniz in the 68th minute of play forced Sistelos's goalkeeper Carlos Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
