Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Lombardos's Catarino Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save SC Lombardos from getting a goal against them. Alberto Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Santarém having to interfere. Alberto Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Catarino Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Luís Luz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Insalde FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Insalde FC's Jorge Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Branco in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Insalde FC defense, Sebastião Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Santos. The Insalde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Santos should have stopped the shot. SC Lombardos's Rafael Matos suffered a concussion in the 21st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Manuel Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Insalde FC's protests and gave Manuel Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Lombardos booed when Insalde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alberto Reis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Insalde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Reis couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Luís Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Insalde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luís Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Insalde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Costa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Insalde FC's zone, Rui Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Santos came out of the goal and Rui Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Catarino Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Reis in the 41st minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, SC Lombardos's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Luz came free, but Catarino Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Santarém having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Reis in the 55th minute of play forced SC Lombardos's goalkeeper Catarino Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Luís Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of SC Lombardos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Insalde FC:s goal. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Insalde FC. Diogo Costa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Catarino Santarém. 2-1. In the 76th minute, SC Lombardos's Rui Matos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rui Matos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Lombardos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rui Matos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Alberto Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Santarém having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Alberto Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastião Lima hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Luís Luz came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Insalde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Luz couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Lombardos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Insalde FC.
